More beaches:
Hengistbury Head is a non-sandy beach, but is still a very popular location! From here you can catch the little land train to Mudeford beach, or you can stroll there. There is a cafe, and lots of opportunity for hill-walking and kite-flying.

The famous Bournemouth beaches, of course, are very close by! This handy map shows the stretch of beach from Hengistbury Head right down past Bournemouth beach and onto Alum Chine. You can’t see Mudeford beach on here – it’s just around the corner from Hengistbury Head.
